Hi! My name is Rachel Swaim. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). I completed my Master’s degree in Counseling with a concentration in clinical mental health from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2020.

I provide individual and family therapy to adolescents and adults. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, and addiction. I view counseling as a collaborative process between clients and myself, with clients being able to set their own goals for therapy and treatment. I take a Person-Centered approach to therapy while pulling interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

I am currently accepting new clients and look forward to connecting with you!

Alycia Lassiter, LCMHCA

I received a Master’s degree in psychology from Saint Leo University and a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty

University.

I have developed and honed my skills over the last eight years by working with various populations including children, adolescents, and adults in case management, private practice, hospital, school/day treatment, and tele-mental health settings. Some of the areas that I have practice include stress/anxiety, depression, self-harm,

self-esteem, substance use, trauma, personal growth, and adjustments/life transitions.

My approach to counseling is a person-centered and strengths-based approach while utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. I also have experience with motivational interviewing.

I strive to provide clients with the foundation that is needed to improve their current situation and help them to reach their goals. I am passionate about creating a safe and welcoming space where clients feel empowered to be their most genuine self. I work to personalize each approach to therapy based on the client’s individual needs.

I look forward to meeting you where you are at in life and helping you through your journey.
